The Diploma of Public Health (Health Promotion) is a 2 years full-time course comprising of 4 semesters with theoretical units and two (2) field studies. The course covers general Public Health units at the beginning of the course focusing on the concepts of Health Promotion, Environmental Health, Epidemiology, Health Service Management, Nutrition and Food Safety and how these have affected the health of individuals, family and communities in Solomon Islands as well as international communities.
