October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated to honouring survivors, remembering loved ones, and spreading the message of early detection.
Here in the Solomon Islands and across the Pacific, breast cancer cases are rising. Many of our mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends are affected. As the SINU community, let us stand together in support.
We invite all staff and students to take part in PinkTober at SINU by wearing PINK this October, whether it’s a ribbon, scarf, shirt, or accessory. Let’s turn SINU pink to show solidarity with survivors, honour our loved ones, and raise awareness about breast cancer.
Together, we can spread hope and awareness.
